Timbre @ The Substation

Catch Astronauts as they perform at Timbre @ The Substation on 28th of March 2018, 7.30pm.

Voyagers of a new musical frontier, the Astronauts galvanize old-school RnB with slick new age funk.

Formed in June 2016, the band is a quintet of like-minded musicians brought together by the love of all things funky and soulful. Within the next year, the boys released their debut single “Get Close” along with its accompanying music video.

Following their success, the Astronauts continue to shake up the music scene. Having recently opened for Tim DeCotta’s “Warrior” album launch, the band has and is slated to play at various noteworthy local festivals. To date, the band has shared the stage with notable artists such as Charlie Lim, Disco Hue and Stopgap. The Astronauts are also in the 2017 edition of the Noise Music Mentorship Program under the tutelage of Kevin Foo- a veteran of the local scene who has managed artists such as Linying, The Steven McQueens and Charlie Lim.

Rocketing for the future, the Astronauts are currently working to release their debut EP. Their debut single off their EP, “I’m No Good”, is available on all major music streaming platforms.
