Singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nigel Cheah obscures the boundaries between a bedroom and studio artist. Choosing to have full autonomy over the writing, production and recording processes for his music, Nigel personifies the new wave of young musicians whose love for music transcends any medium. Known for his old-world crooning and soulful melodies, Nigel’s approach towards songwriting is influenced by his exposure to various musical styles and philosophies.

Launching his solo career in mid-2017, Nigel is steadily making his presence known across the music scene. A mentee of both Charlie Lim (Timbre Mentorship Programme 2017) and Inch Chua (Noise Singapore Music Mentorship Programme 2017), Nigel aspires to collaborate with other like-minded artists that share a passion for the craft.

Nigel’s debut single ‘Denim’ released on Spotify and Apple Music in October 2017 and his latest release ‘See You in June’ is available exclusively on Bandcamp.
