After nearly a decade of hiatus, Walking on Water, returns to the stage to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their maiden album launch. Formed in 2003, this all-female band’s love for R&B, Gospel and Jazz grew into a deep kinship beyond the music they love. In 2006, Walking on Water embarked on an album production project, “Into Our Faith”. This live-recorded album represents the culmination of all things Walking on Water: faith, funky music, friendship, fun and fulfilment.
It has been evident that the camaraderie within Walking on Water is alive and well. The music from their album still resonates in listeners, their faith-filled friendship still precious to themselves and their fans. This December, as they take the stage again, Ruth, Mylene, Christine and Audrey pay it forward by inviting Becka and bittymacbeth, two young and promising singers to share the love within Walking on Water.
